Obviously AI review 2026: now Zams — what has changed and who is it for? — practical AI guide for SMEs

Obviously AI no longer exists as an ML tool — the platform is now called Zams and focuses on autonomous AI workers for sales teams. Honest review with current pricing (verified April 2026), concrete examples and the best alternatives.

Update April 2026: Obviously AI is now Zams

Important for visitors who know this page: Obviously AI rebranded to Zams in February 2025 and made a fundamental strategic shift. The platform is no longer a no-code machine learning tool for predicting customer behaviour. Zams now focuses entirely on autonomous AI workers for sales and revenue teams.

If you are looking for a tool for predictive analytics without code, Julius AI or Rows are better alternatives. If you want to know what Zams is now and whether it is right for you, read on.

What is Zams (formerly Obviously AI)?

Zams provides autonomous AI workers that take over daily repetitive sales tasks. Think: updating CRM data, preparing meetings, monitoring accounts and qualifying leads. The platform positions itself as a team of digital colleagues working 24/7 — without breaks, without errors caused by fatigue.

The AI workers are named Evan, Atlas, Nico and Nova. Each does one thing, but does it thoroughly:

AI workerTaskStatus
EvanMeeting prep: research, icebreakers, battlecardsAvailable
AtlasCRM management: update records, analyse pipelineAvailable
NicoAccount monitoring: signals, job changes, fundingWaitlist
NovaFind lookalike leads based on successful dealsWaitlist
IrisAnalyse LinkedIn network for warm introductionsWaitlist

The platform connects to 40+ tools: Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack, Gmail, Google Calendar, Gong, LinkedIn and more. No migration needed — Zams works alongside your existing stack.

How Atlas works: CRM management in plain English

Atlas is the most concrete AI worker: you give instructions in plain English sentences, and Atlas executes them in your CRM. No workflow building, no API configuration.

Concrete: what you type → what Atlas does

Task 1: Clean up stale leads

"Set all leads that haven't been contacted in more than 60 days to 'Inactive' and add a note with today's date."

Atlas executes: Searches your CRM, filters on 'Last contact date', updates the status and adds notes to every lead — all at once.

Task 2: Analyse pipeline

"Give me an overview of all deals in the 'Demo scheduled' stage that expire this month."

Atlas executes: Filters on deal stage and expiry date, generates a structured overview and sends it to your Slack channel.

Task 3: Standardise data

"Correct all company names in the pipeline that are missing or written inconsistently, based on the website URL."

Atlas executes: Looks up the official company names via web research and updates your CRM records.

How Evan works: meetings without preparation

Evan automatically researches before every meeting: who are the attendees, what is happening at the company, what was discussed in previous conversations, and what objections should you expect?

Concrete: for a 30-minute sales call

Evan automatically delivers a briefing that includes:

  • Company summary and recent news items
  • Relevant context from previous emails and conversations (via Gong or Grain)
  • Personalised opening questions ("You raised a round last quarter — what does that mean for your sales budget?")
  • Org chart of decision makers
  • Likely objections based on similar deals

Time saving: An average of 45 minutes of manual research work per meeting, automated.

Pricing (2026, verified)

Zams has no free plan. All plans are monthly per user, with 2 months free on annual billing.

Who is Zams for?

Zams is built for:

  • Enterprise sales teams (10+ reps) with a mature CRM
  • Revenue Operations managers who want to eliminate manual CRM work
  • VPs of Sales who need accurate pipeline data without hours of clean-up work

Zams is not suitable for:

  • Freelancers or small teams (price is too high, ROI too low)
  • Teams without Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Companies looking for predictive analytics (that was the old Obviously AI — see Julius AI as an alternative)
  • Startups without structured CRM data

Clay is a strong alternative for lead enrichment and prospecting, but requires more technical knowledge. HubSpot AI is built into a full CRM and better suited for small and medium-sized businesses.

Honest assessment: drawbacks you need to know

  1. Completely changed direction: Anyone who knew Obviously AI as an ML prediction tool will find a completely different product at Zams. The old platform for churn prediction and lead scoring no longer exists.
  1. No free plan, no trial period: You cannot start for free. The minimum entry point is ~€47/user/month for Evan — that is €564/year per employee just for meeting preparation.
  1. Enterprise-first: Zams is built for teams with mature CRM infrastructure. Without thousands of well-populated CRM records, Atlas performs less well.
  1. Limited independent reviews: After the rebrand in February 2025, there are virtually no public user reviews. The only available review (from before the rebrand) gave the product 3/5 for value for money.
  1. Most AI workers still on waitlist: Nico, Nova and Iris are not yet available to everyone. You are paying for a platform that is largely still being rolled out.

What if you were looking for the old Obviously AI?

The old Obviously AI — no-code machine learning for customer behaviour predictions — no longer exists as a standalone product. If you are looking for comparable functionality, these are the best alternatives:

  • [Julius AI](/tools/julius-ai) — data analysis and predictions via chat, no code needed
  • [Rows](/tools/rows) — spreadsheet with AI formulas for data analysis and automation
  • [Make](/tools/make) — automate data pipelines without code

Our verdict

Zams solves a real problem: CRM data in most sales organisations is dirty, outdated and maintained manually. If Zams does what it promises, Atlas saves hours per week per employee.

But the pain points are significant: high price, no trial period, little independent validation and a large part of the platform still on a waitlist. For enterprise sales teams with budget and mature CRM data, it is worth requesting early access. For everyone else, this is not a logical starting point.

Rating: 2.5/5 — Promising concept, but too early, too expensive and too niche for most professionals.

Veelgestelde vragen

Veelgestelde vragen
