What we do in an AI discovery.
- 1Pijler: Strategy
Setting the AI strategy
Together with you we decide what AI has to deliver: fewer hours, faster delivery or growth without extra people. We make that goal measurable, so you know later whether it worked.
An AI strategy with a goal, priorities and a budget.
- 2Pijler: Processes
Writing down the processes
We talk to the people who do the work and write down step by step how it goes today. Where the manual work sits, in which systems, who checks what and how often it happens. We document all of it, so you can keep using it.
Process descriptions of the processes with the most manual work.
- 3Pijler: Governance
Drafting an AI policy
We set out what is allowed with AI: which tools your team uses, which data may go into them and who decides whether a new AI use is added. With the GDPR and the EU AI Act alongside, in language your team understands.
A first AI policy you can share with your team right away.
- 4Pijler: Strategy and processes
Working out the opportunities
Per process we work out how many hours it saves, which data is needed and how hard it is. Then we advise which process goes first.
A final AI opportunity map, a roadmap with costs and a business case.

Our advice
AI discovery
Where AI saves time in your business, with an AI opportunity map and roadmap.
You are here.
Where you stand with AI.
The scorecard is your baseline: a score from 1 to 5 per pillar, on the same seven pillars as AI transformation and based on Gartner’s AI maturity model. The opportunity map says what you do first; the scorecard says what has to happen before that can.

1Strategie+3
Do you know what AI has to deliver?
Everyone wants “something with AI”, nobody has a goal in hours or customers.
2Processen+2
Is it clear how the work runs?
Quotes and supplier invoices together cost 30 hours a week, and that is written down.
3Governance+3
Are there agreements about AI?
Employees paste customer emails into their own ChatGPT.
4Data+2
Can an agent read your records?
Exact has a connection, the price list sits in a spreadsheet.
5Technologie+2
Can your systems be connected?
Exact Online and Outlook both have a connection.
6Mensen+2
Does your team have the knowledge?
Two enthusiasts, the rest wait and see.
7Cultuur+2
Is there room to try things?
Mistakes are punished quickly, so nobody tries anything new.
Questions about AI discovery.
Is an AI policy really necessary?
Yes, as soon as your team uses AI tools. Without agreements someone pastes customer data into their own ChatGPT. The policy from the discovery is short and practical. If you want the team to actually work with it, AI adoption fits.
What is the difference between AI consultancy and an AI discovery?
AI discovery is how we do AI consultancy: short, inside your own work, and always ending in a plan with costs. Not a report about trends. Want to see the opportunities yourself first? Make your AI opportunity map with the UnifyAI Agent.
What is the AI scorecard based on?
On Gartner’s AI maturity model. We measure on the same seven pillars as in AI transformation: strategy, processes, governance, data, technology, people and culture. The scorecard is your baseline; whoever goes on sees growth on those same pillars.
Do we need our data in order already?
No. At most companies it is not. The discovery shows exactly which data an agent needs and what is missing. The cleaning up itself we do in data in order.
How much time does it cost our team?
A few one-hour conversations with the people who do the work, and the odd question in between. The rest we do. How that runs is on how we work.
Are we tied to you afterwards?
No. The AI opportunity map and the roadmap are yours. You can carry them out with us in an AI agent project, with another party, or yourself.
What if it turns out AI makes no sense?
Then we say so. Sometimes a better agreement or a simple connection is enough. That is part of the outcome too.
