From thirty to ten minutes per quote
First the data in order, then an agent that prepares the quote. The sales manager now spends ten minutes instead of thirty, on ten quotes a week.

At NDK Metaal, every quote meant searching all over again: which materials, which prices, what did this customer get last time. Thirty minutes per quote, ten quotes a week. Not because the work was hard, but because the data was scattered.

“The gain was not in the agent but in what came before it. Once the data was right, a quote was suddenly a matter of checking instead of searching.”
How the agent works.
When it starts, what it does and where the customer looks.

What we did, step by step.
- 1
Research
We found out where the data needed for a quote was kept, and which of it contradicted itself.
- 2
Laying the foundation
A data-in-order project: materials and prices structured, duplicates removed, and a record of what each field means. Without that step, an agent prepares a quote with the wrong rate.
- 3
Building
The agent fetches the customer details and the right prices and prepares the quote lines. The sales manager checks, adjusts where the job is different, and sends it.
- 4
Settling in
For the first weeks the sales manager worked alongside the agent: checking every quote and correcting what was off. What kept going right, he later only needed to read.
- 5
Steering
New materials and price changes are added. Whatever the sales manager corrects goes back into the agent.
What the customer keeps.
The agent prepares, the customer checks.
- 1
The sales manager sets the price and checks every quote.
- 2
He calculates unusual work himself; the agent handles what comes back.
